Gîtes de France “Win a holiday every year for life” contest is now over. Implemented by Eficiens on Facebook (page launch, app creation and targeted advertising), it not only allowed participants to win a weeklong accommodation in a French cottage in one of the following regions: Cantal, Aveyron, Corsica, the Tarn and Garonne, Ardeche, Vendee and Loire, but also to participate in the prize draw to win holidays for life with Gîtes de France.
So it's time to take stock after two months’ competition and suspense for the many participants:
- More than 60,000 people became fan of Gîtes de France Facebook page since its launch mid October
- Almost 40,000 people tried their luck with the prize draw
- 85 000 interactions were recorded (clicks on "publish on the wall and" invite friends ")
- The "department" Page was viewed over 150,000 times.
- 8 local 1-week free accommodation packages were won
- And finally, one player won a holiday for life with Gîtes de France!
So, the game really motivated the Facebook community and was a success on all fronts.
Participants' comments speak for themselves: they liked the prizes and the game itself, which was fun, helped them discover French regions and share personal experiences.
